2022 GMC Sierra Denali Review: Denali Luxury in a Truck

With trucks becoming the new family vehicle, manufactures are creating these luxury versions of their otherwise simple work tucks. That’s exactly what the 2022 GMC Sierra Denali Limited is. Take a Sierra truck and add creature comforts to make cross country trips a breeze.

We start on the outside and I’ve said I’d never get a black vehicle but this Sierra had me doubting that decision. Mixed with the iconic “Denali Chrome”, you can tell this truck can be seen as a status symbol.

Depending on the time of day, the interior leather showed a black shade or shined its true dark walnut color. It also had blue accents that GMC calls Dark Ash Grey. The Denali stitching on the seats added to the status symbol. They didn’t only look the part, they also performed their part by offering an incredibly comfortable feeling.

Under the hood, the 6.2L V8 offered tons of power but still allowed for great mileage. I was able to beat the 16 MPG combined EPA estimate with a 19.8 MPG. I do attribute the truck’s adaptive suspension that had me relaxed and had me driving in a calm and eco friendly way.

Overall, I loved driving the 2022 GMC Sierra Denali. The luxuries, power, and tech, made this a great package.
