2022 Ford Bronco Raptor Review: The BRaptor
You get the already awesome Bronco, you give it the Raptor treatment and you end up with the BRaptor! The 2022 Ford Bronco Raptor was on my list of vehicles to want to review and it didn’t disappoint. From the exterior, you can immediately tell that this isn’t a regular Bronco. With the big giveaway being the massive flares needed to go over the larger 37” wheels and tires. The silver colored front bash plates also stand out to tell you, it’s time for business in the front!
Getting into the higher Raptor wasn’t that bad with the added side steps. The seats in the Raptor had beautiful leather trimmed and suede materials. My favorite was the Code Orange seat belts that added the perfect accent to it. To add more to accents, the Raptor was equipped with the carbon fiber pack which can be seen in the grab handles, the steering wheel, and the shifter.
Under the hood, the Raptor gets a larger 3.0L EcoBoost engine cranking out 418 horsepower and 440 lb.-ft. of torque. The power gets sent to my favorite 10-speed automatic that makes sure the V6 stays in constant boost. The adaptive suspension is really that extra garnish that makes a dish perfect. Having the flexibility of softening or stiffening the suspension made switching from paved to unpaved roads a necessity.
Overall, it’s hard to beat the 2022 Ford Bronco Raptor. My whole family had smiles on our faces and we looked for any excuse to go out for a drive.
