2021 Ford F-150 SuperCrew Review: The Multifunctional Truck
From being on the worksite, to being able to haul the family, the modern day pickup truck has to be good at many things. The 2021 Ford F-150 SuperCrew checked a lot of those boxes. In the looks department, the Antimatter Blue color makes this F-150 blend in when dark and shine when the sun hits the paint as well as the big chrome. The tailgate step option helps getting into the truck bed to get either building materials, or groceries out of furthest point of the bed.
Getting in the SuperCrew is easy with its massive doors. The cloth interior had a high quality feel and finish to it. The seats were large and comfortable for all 5 passengers. With the column mounted shifter, this made it easy to deploy the middle arm rest to reveal the work surface. It made my camera set up extremely easy to perform instead of the usual reaching over to the passenger seat. The large infotainment screen makes everything easy to read and allows split view of different items like your music and navigation.
Under the hood, the 5.0L V8 was quiet for normal everyday driving, and roared under hard acceleration. The 10-speed automatic was precise in finding the right gear during different scenarios such as highway passing.
With a price as tested of $57,540, this was a great bargain for such a well rounded truck.
