2021 Dodge Charger Hellcat Redeye Widebody Review

Having a ton of horsepower is always a lot of fun. The 2021 Dodge Charger Hellcat Redeye Widebody is a car that has plenty of horsepower, 797 to be exact. The 392 V8 was already a handful, the Redeye was just downright insane. Unfortunately for us we got the Charger within the same week that Texas got hit with one of the worst snow storms in years. Our testing was a little on the limited side because the road conditions weren’t ideal for this Hellcat that wanted to let loose.

Even though the Octane Red is more subdued than the ToRed color, the sculpted hood, wide body and 20”x11” wheels, had everyone’s attention.

We know that with great horsepower comes great responsibility and the supercharger on top of the 6.2L V8 makes you responsible real quick! The roar of the exhaust can be heard from almost a block away and when we used the remote start, the horn beeps were unnecessary because you can hear the Hellcat roar as it warmed up.

Warming up was something that we needed during our time with the Charger. We were glad that it had heated seats as well as a heated steering wheel that activated when you used the remote start. Aside from being nice and toasty, the seats were extremely comfortable for road trips but sporty enough to keep you held as you push the G-forces.

Overall the 2021 Dodge Charger Hellcat Redeye Widebody was like a tied up beast that was wanting to be set free. The freezing Texas temperature did keep us from enjoying it’s full potential. Even in ideal conditions, the Hellcat had us fearing its massive power delivery.
