Influencer Invasion at Driveway Austin

Fellow YouTuber Daniel Hurlbert decided to host an event at our local driving school, Driveway Austin. The Influencer Invasion invited social media influencers to bring their cars out for some time attack laps around the track. If you didn’t meet his influence requirements, you also had the chance to purchase a spot as well as the option to spectate. We didn’t decide to participate in the track events because we currently don’t have Project B5 in the state that we’d like to tackle a 90+ degree track day.

There was your typical drivers meeting where everyone listened to all the rules to make sure that everyone played safely. The first timers then went on a track walk which allowed me to listen to some great tips on how to be fast at the Driveway Austin track. Halfway through the track walk, the heat started to come down.

The cars were broken up into three different classes, race prep, street prep, and stock. The event brought all types of cars from the 6 figure Ferraris to an air-cooled 60s VW Beetle. It was a great event and we can’t wait to hopefully participate in a future one.
