2025 Lexus UX 300h Review: The Fancy Corolla

The beautiful Copper Crest color of the 2025 Lexus UX300h is the choice you want to make! The heavy metallic color welcomes the sun to help make it shine like no other color. With this being the F Sport Handling trim, you’ll get things like the color-keyed over fender and gloss black trims. The F Sport 18-inch wheels were surprisingly in a flat gray color and not the usual gloss black from the F Sport offerings. The taillight had a unique design that resembled horns. I did feel like it should have offered a polished or black chrome exhaust tip in the F Sport trim, but instead got a hidden tip.

Getting in, the interior had ventilated and heated sporty seats. Thankfully they were big boy friendly and had a nice embossed F Sport on the headrests. The space up front felt plentiful but not the same can be said for the rear. With my seat positioned for my 5’7” height, I was placed slightly behind the B-pillar. The rear legroom will be on the tight side so make sure your tall passengers are calling shotgun to avoid rear seating complaints.

Under the hood, the 2.0L hybrid engine delivered a 196 net combined horsepower. The power gets sent to the front wheels but there is also an all-wheel drive option available. With the F Sport Handling trim, you’ll get the adaptive variable suspension which noticeably tightens up when using the Sport S+ drive mode.

Overall, if you’re looking to downsize from a larger Lexus SUV, the UX 300h fit the bill. It can also be a great option if you’re looking for a Corolla sized vehicle but are wanting a little more luxury touches.
