2022 Chevy Tahoe Review: American-Sized SUV

The 2022 Chevrolet Tahoe is a full size SUV that gets your attention. The big chrome grille is hard to miss as it reflects every ray from the sun. The Midnight Blue Metallic paint shows an almost black shade till the sun hits it and shows the deep blue shade.

You can find 20” polished aluminum wheels on all four corners. Although they are large in size, I did feel like they lacked in design to compliment the bold looks of the Tahoe. Luckily the aftermarket is flooded with options for the Tahoe.

Inside of the Tahoe, you can see its main goal is to haul people and do it comfortably. With seating for 7, there is plenty of space to make sure your elbows aren’t touching your siblings. The large comfortable seats offered both a heated and vented option. It worked well for the mornings that started in the 40s, to the afternoons that rose to the 70s.

The wireless Apple Carplay projected on a very sharp 10.2” display. The sharp screen also helped show the HD Surround camera system that was available at the touch of a physical button. Having that button made accessing the cameras extremely easy and quick when I had to park the large Tahoe in the tightest of spots.

Under the hood we have the 6.2L V8 to help get the big Chevy moving. The big V8 helps with pulling any large rig that may way up to 7600 lbs. Using the remote start was a symphonic masterpiece to wake you up in the mornings.

Overall we were extremely pleased with driving around the 2022 Chevrolet Tahoe. Although my family doesn’t have a need for such a large vehicle, I can see the appeal for larger families.
